Frequently Asked Questions
Below are the most frequently asked questions, I have received over the years of teaching the art of dance.
Q. Do you offer combination classes?
A. DFHM does not teach combination classes. Most combination classes that I see advertised are for three or four dance disciplines (i.e ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop) rolled up into one 45 minute class, that is an average of only 11.25 to 15 minutes per discipline. I personally find it difficult to teach a dance discipline in 11-15 minutes as I teach terminology and proper technique in each of my classes.
Q. Do you have an annual recital?
A. Yes, DFHM offers an annual Spring Production complete with a production crew that combines over 100 years of production experience and expertise at an affordable price. In addition our dancers have performed in community outreach efforts including parades, senior facilities and church conferences.
Q. Is there a dress code for class?
A. Yes, after your student(s) are placed and enrolled in a class you will be provided with the appropriate color and style dancewear at an affordable price for that particular class. We have partnered with Discount Dance with a link to our dancewear page via our website, simply click the link and off you go to our store page.
Q. When is tuition due?
A. Tuition is due the first of each month. We also offer a seven day grace period without penalty for those that need a little extra time.
I realize the above Q and A session above is not all inclusive and parents may have additional questions. Should you have further questions or seek further in depth information, I would love to hear from you, feel free to contact me at your convenience. Look forward to hearing from you! Mrs. Sharon
